# Waive Late Fees on Dues and Fees
Remove a late fee from an individual invoice, whether or not it’s currently past due.
### Steps
1. Click on the **Payments** tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
2. Click on the **Dues & Fees** tab.
3. Find the item and click the **View Summary** (magnifying glass) icon in the **ACTIONS** column.
4. Find the invoice, click the three-dot menu in its **ACTIONS** column, and select **Waive Late Fee**.
5. In the **WAIVE LATE FEE?** window, click **Waive Late Fee** to confirm.
**Note:** Waiving a late fee removes all late charges on that invoice, whether flat-fee or interest-based. The **Waive Late Fee** option only appears on invoices with an un-waived late fee.
To close the window without waiving, click **Cancel** or the **X** in the top right corner.
**Tip:** To waive late fees on every currently filtered invoice at once, use **Waive Filtered Late Fees** from the **Invoice Actions** menu on the item’s summary window instead. To waive all late fees for an item regardless of filters, use **Waive All Late Fees** from the **Dues Actions** menu on the main Dues & Fees list.
