View a Conversation

Open a conversation to read its messages.

Steps

  1. Log into the member-facing side of your website directly, or click Public Site on the Dashboard’s left menu.
  2. Click the Messaging icon (a pair of speech bubbles) in the menu bar under your organization’s name. The Messaging window lists every conversation you’re a participant in.
  3. Click the box for the conversation you want to open.

What the Conversation View Shows

  • The conversation’s name and a view [X] participants link at the top, showing the total number of people in it.
  • Every message in the thread, each showing the sender’s name, avatar, and timestamp.
  • A composer at the bottom (Your message box, an image icon, an Upload button, and Send) for replying.
  1. Click view all messages at the top of the window to return to your full conversation list.
