Upload Contents to or Delete Contents from a Folder
Files up to 15 MB can be uploaded to any folder or subfolder. GIF, JPG, PNG, and PDF files preview on the page; other file types, such as Word or Excel documents, download instead when opened.
Upload a File
- Click on the Features tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
- Click on the Documents tab.
- Click the folder (or subfolder) you want to add the file to.
- Click the Upload button above the folder’s contents.
- In the Upload window, set who can view the file, using the same visibility options described in Create a Folder. By default, a new file inherits its folder’s access level.
- Click Choose file to open your device’s file picker and select the file you want to upload.
- Click Upload to finish adding the file to the folder.
Once uploaded, the file appears in the folder’s contents list along with its upload date, file size, and a row of action icons — see Download a Single Document from a Folder, Preview an Uploaded Document, Copy a Link to an Uploaded Document, and Edit Settings for an Uploaded Document for what each icon does.
Delete a File
Important: Deleting a file cannot be undone.
- Click the gear-shaped Settings icon in the file’s row, under the Actions column.
- In the EDIT FILE window, click Delete File.
- In the DELETE FILE? confirmation window, click Delete to permanently remove the file, or Cancel to back out.
To exit the Upload or EDIT FILE window without saving, click Cancel, press Esc, or click the X in the top right corner.
