Set Up a Payment Account and Pay an Invoice or a One-Time Charge in the App

You can pay a due, a one-time charge, or another billed item straight from the mobile app's Payments screen, using a saved card, bank account (ACH), or one you add on the spot.

Adding a Payment Account

You can add a payment account either while making a payment, or ahead of time from Settings.

  1. Open the app and tap Payments on the Home screen. (Your community may have renamed this button.)
  2. Find the item you want to pay and tap Pay.
  3. In the Make a Payment window, tap + Add New to add a payment account.

To add a card: enter the card number, expiration date (MM/YY), the 3-digit security code from the back of the card, and the billing ZIP/postal code, exactly as they appear on your statement, then tap +Add.

To add a bank account (ACH): set up ACH from your community website or the Member Portal instead — it is not added from inside the app itself.

Tip: You can also reach the same "Add New" option ahead of time, without picking an item to pay first, by tapping the Menu icon in the bottom bar, then Settings, then Manage payment methods. You can save more than one payment account and choose which one to use each time you pay.

Paying an Invoice or One-Time Charge

  1. Tap Payments on the Home screen.
  2. Tap Pay on the item you want to pay. If you have more than one item due, you can check the box on more than one to pay them together in a single payment.
  3. If you are paying a single item and your community allows partial payments, you can enter a specific amount in the Payment Amount field instead of paying the full balance. This field is not available when you have selected more than one item at once.
  4. Choose the payment account to use, or add a new one as described above.
  5. If you want this item to bill automatically going forward, turn on Enroll in Autopay (optional — only appears for items that support it).
  6. Tap Make a Payment to complete the payment.

Note: You will receive an email confirming the payment once it goes through. To back out at any point before confirming, tap the < icon.
