Search Message Center History

Overview

Search capabilities appear in three places in Message Center:

  1. The Message Center History landing page.
  2. The full list of message transmissions (via the view more link at the bottom of the landing page).
  3. The Recipients tab of a Selected Message window.

Search on the History Landing Page or Full List Search by Recipient, Subject, or Email Address

  1. Type or paste all or part of a recipient's name, message subject, or e-mail address into the Search Messages box.
  2. Click the Search button (magnifying glass), or click the Clear button ("X") to clear it.

Note: More search text doesn't always produce better results — try a shorter or more specific term if you don't find what you expect.

 Filter by Message Type

Use the Message type dropdown to select the context in which the message was sent (for example, Digest, Dues, Amenities, Boardroom, Committees, Email Blast, Events, Forms, Member Registration, One-Time Charges, Set Password, Support Ticket, Ticketing, Violations, Voting/Surveys, or Wallet). Leave it set to All if you're unsure of the message type or want to search multiple types.

Choose Email Blast for messages sent via Membership > Members > Members Actions > Message Filtered Members.

 Filter by Date Range

  1. Click in the Date Range box to open the calendar.
  2. Use the "<" and ">" arrows to move a month at a time, or click the month/year text to jump to a specific month or year.
  3. Click a date to set the start of the range, then click a second date to set the end.
  4. Click Set to finalize the range. The Set link stays grayed out until both a start and end date are chosen.

Note: If you set up a delayed transmission, search for the actual send date, not the date you set up the messaging.

Search Within a Specific Transmission's Recipients Tab

  1. Open a specific transmission (Message Center > History > View).
  2. Click the Recipients tab.
  3. In the Search Recipients box, type or paste all or part of a recipient's name or e-mail address.
    • Note: This search does not search by message subject, since you're already viewing one specific transmission.
  4. Click the Search button (magnifying glass), or the Clear button ("X") to clear it.
  5. Use the Status dropdown to filter by delivery status: Processing, Delivered, Opened, or Not Delivered.
Note: A message must be "Delivered" before it can be "Opened."
