Search for a Member Wallet Transaction

# Search for a Member Wallet Transaction

Also searched as: filter Member Wallet transactions, find a member wallet payment, search member wallet history

Use the "MANAGE MEMBER WALLET" window to find all the Member Wallet transactions that meet specific criteria. Follow the steps below to filter the list to display just the transactions you want to see.

How to Access the Manage Member Wallet Window

Use either of these two paths:

  • Path 1: Membership > Members > [Name of Member] > ACTIONS > Manage Wallet
  • Path 2: Membership > Members > [Name of Member] > ACTIONS > View Member > Member Dues > View Wallet

How to Search All Criteria at Once

  1. Leave the "Search All" dropdown menu set to its default (searches all criteria at once).
  2. Type your search text into the "Search Transactions" box.
  3. Click the "Search" button, or press Enter/Return.

The search you requested appears in a gray result box below the search field, and the list updates to display only the records that match your search criteria.

Tip: Search works best with short, specific terms - a single word, a few letters, or part of a name or address. Typing multiple words (like a full name) actually widens your results instead of narrowing them, since each word is matched separately. For the fewest, most accurate results, search with just one term at a time.

How to Search by a Specific Category

  1. Click the "Search All" dropdown menu to open it.
  2. Select the category you want to search by:
    • Transaction ID
    • Transaction Name
    • Transaction Amount
    • Transaction Notes

How to Search by Multiple Criteria (Combinations)

  1. Search for each criterion one at a time, in succession.
  2. Each criterion you search for appears as its own separate gray result box below the search field.

 How to Clear Search Criteria

  • To clear all criteria at once: Click the "Clear" button.
  • To clear one criterion: Click the "X" at the right edge of that criterion's gray result box.

 How to Sort Search Results

  1. Click a column name, or click the pair of arrows to the right of the column, to sort by that column.
  2. By default, results sort in ascending order.
  3. Click the pair of arrows again to switch to descending order. Each click toggles the sort order.
  4. To identify the current sort order, look for which arrow is dark gray:
    • Arrow pointing up is dark = ascending order.
    • Both arrows are light gray on columns that are not the current sort basis.
