Search Folders or Files
The Documents feature has two separate search boxes — one for finding a folder by name, and one for finding a file inside whichever folder you currently have open.
Search for a Folder
- Click on the Features tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
- Click on the Documents tab.
- Type all or part of a folder’s name into the search folders box, just below the New Folder button.
The folder list updates instantly as you type — there’s no Search button to click and no need to press Enter.
Search Within a Folder’s Files
- Click the folder whose files you want to search.
- Type all or part of a file’s name into the search within folder box that appears above that folder’s contents.
As with folder search, the file list updates instantly as you type.
Limitation: Searching within a folder only checks that folder’s own files — it doesn’t reach into any subfolders nested inside it. To search a subfolder’s files, open that subfolder first.
Clearing a Search
Delete the text from either search box to remove your search and see the full folder or file list again.
