OverviewOnce you've created a One-Time Charge (see "How do I create a One-time charge?"), go to Payments > One-Time Charges to track how it's performing and adjust its settings.
One-Time Charges ListThe list shows every charge you've created, with columns for Charge Name, Created Date, $ Charge (or "Flex" if the amount is flexible), $ Collected, and # Purchased. Use the row actions to Edit a charge or View Summary for more detail on its activity.
How to Edit a One-Time Charge
- Go to Payments > One-Time Charges.
- Click Edit on the charge you want to update.
- Update any of the following:
- Charge Name and Charge Description (both required)
- Allow Flexible Payment Amount — lets the payer choose how much to pay instead of a fixed amount
- Amount — the fixed charge amount (if flexible payment isn't enabled)
- Collect Local Sales Tax — applies sales tax to this charge
- Enable Service Fee — passes a transaction fee onto the payer
- Allow multiple purchases per transaction — lets a payer buy more than one of this item at once
- Select Applicable Member Groups (Tags) — limits who can see and purchase this charge to members with specific tags. Click Add Tags to open the full tag picker.
- Image — click Upload New Image to add a photo representing this charge
- Information Form — attach one of your existing Custom Forms to collect additional information from the payer at checkout
- QuickBooks Account — choose which QuickBooks account this charge's transactions sync to, if different from your default
- Allow non-member payment — lets non-members purchase this charge
- Activate One-Time Charge — turns the charge on or off
4. Click Save to apply your changes, or Cancel to discard them.
Creating a New Charge
Click Add New Charge from the One-Time Charges screen to start a new one using the same set of fields described above.
Managing Charge Notifications
Click Email Management on the One-Time Charges screen to configure the email notifications tied to charge purchases.
