Member Portal and App Setup
Also searched as: Portal/App Setup, Member Portal settings, Member Dashboard buttons, mobile app buttons, My Dashboard setup
Make changes to your Member Portal setup so its button-driven, streamlined interface includes only the feature buttons you want it to present. Rename and reorganize the buttons, add headlines and introductory page descriptions for the content each one brings up, and hide any buttons you do not wish to display.
- Important: changes made to the Member Portal setup also apply to the Member Dashboard ("My Dashboard"). These changes do not apply to the Admin Dashboard.
- Enter a custom welcome message in the MEMBER PORTAL SETTINGS window.
- This message appears on the Member Portal and on the home screen of the mobile app.
- If you do not enter a custom message (or you delete the default text), the default placeholder text ("Please enter your welcome text") will display instead.
- Drag an individual feature row up or down to change the order of:
- Member Portal feature buttons
- Mobile app buttons
- Member Dashboard cards
- The top-to-bottom order of the feature rows equals the left-to-right order of the Member Portal and mobile app buttons, and the equivalent order of the Member Dashboard cards.
- Click the Visible icon (eyeball) next to the feature.
- The feature immediately moves to the INACTIVE PAGES list at the bottom of the Member Portal Settings window.
- Click Preview Changes at the top right of the window.
- Use the tabs at the top of the preview window to view the desktop and mobile versions of the Member Portal.
- Click the X at the top right of the preview window to close it.
- Click Save & Publish at the top right of the Member Portal Settings window when finished.
- Important: if you skip this step, your changes will not be preserved.
- Open the Manage Site tab.
- Click the Portal/App Setup tab.
- Locate it in the INACTIVE PAGES list.
- Click the Hidden icon (eyeball with a diagonal line through it).
- The feature moves back to the bottom of the ACTIVE PAGES list.
- Click the Content icon (page icon) next to the feature to open the DIRECTORY CONTENT window.
- Activate Show page headline (optional) to reveal the Title field — up to 25 characters.
- Activate Show page description (optional) to reveal the Description field — up to 250 characters.
To add optional descriptive text to a feature's page (shown when members open that page from the Portal or app, not on the Member Dashboard):
