# How do I edit a Custom Template in Message Center?
### Edit a Custom Message Center Template
*Also searched as: change an e-blast template, update a custom template, edit message content*
### How to Open a Custom Template for Editing
1. Click on the **Message Center** tab, then **Templates**.
2. Click the **Custom** tab.
3. Locate the template you want to edit, and click the three-dots menu in the **Actions** column.
4. Choose **Edit**.
### Editing Individual Content Modules
Each content module (Subject, Heading, Body, Button, Image, Attachments) has its own editing controls:
- Every module includes a pencil **Edit** icon to enter edit mode, and a trash-can **Delete** icon to remove the module entirely.
- Some modules (like Heading and Body) include a full text-formatting toolbar; others (like Subject) offer plain text entry only.
- Click **Done** to save changes to that module, or **Cancel** to discard them.

### How to Save Your Overall Changes
Click **Save** at the top of the template-editing window to save all your changes to the Custom Template. Click **Cancel** to close the template without saving.
