# How can I manage a household wallet, and view its transactions?
### Manage a Household Wallet and View Wallet Transactions
### What This Window Shows
The **MANAGE HOUSEHOLD WALLET** window itemizes:
- The history of positive balance items added to a Household Wallet.
- Payments made on Household dues using Household Wallet funds.
This includes both:
- Admins marking invoices paid through the Admin Dashboard using Household Wallet funds.
- Members using Wallet funds to pay Household invoices online.
### How to Access the Household Wallet
Go to either path:
- **Households \> Households \> \[Household Title\] \> ACTIONS \> Manage Wallet**
- **Membership \> Members \> \[Name of Household Member\] \> ACTIONS \> View Member \> Member Households \> View Wallet**
### Understanding the Transaction List
Each transaction row displays:
- Transaction ID
- Name
- Amount
- Date Added
- Notes (optional comments)
### Notes on Transaction Types
- Admins can add notes to a transaction when recording or importing it, or the system may add notes automatically for certain transaction types.
- **Values in parentheses** are negative amounts — these represent payments.
- **"Autogenerated on use of wallet balance"** — a dues payment the Member made using Household Wallet funds.
- **"Admin Created Transaction"** — a payment an Admin recorded using Household Wallet funds.
- A transaction that appears **crossed out** has been voided by an Admin. Voided transactions display a red rectangular "VOID" icon.
**How to View a Transaction**
1. Locate or search for the transaction you want to view. (See [Search for a Household Wallet Transaction](https://help.hoastart.com/search-for-a-household-wallet-transaction?hsLang=en) for search instructions.)
2. In the "MANAGE HOUSEHOLD WALLET" window's **Actions** column, click the three-dots menu and choose **View Transaction**.
3. In the "VIEW TRANSACTION" window, review the transaction name, amount, and any optional notes.
To close the window: click **Done**, press **Esc**, or click the **X** in the top right corner.
