# How can a member amend or resubmit a ticket?
### Amend and Resubmit a Ticket Submission (Member)

### When You'll See This
If an administrator reviews your ticket and needs changes before it can be approved, they'll send a **request for modification**. Your ticket's status becomes **Pending** again, and you'll see the request as a comment on your submission.
### How to Amend Your Submission
1. Open your ticket submission (from your Member Dashboard's **Tickets** card, or the link in your notification email).
2. At the bottom of the **Request Details** box, click the **Amend** button.
3. This reopens the original submission form (the **Amend Form** window) so you can make changes to your original entries.
4. Make your edits, then click the **Resubmit** button to lock the ticket information again and return the ticket's status to **Pending** for another admin review.
### Replying Without Amending
If you just want to reply to a comment without resubmitting the form:
- Use the **Add Comment** button to post an ordinary reply.
- Use the **Resubmit** button only when you're responding to a specific request for modification — this is what locks the form and moves it back into the review queue.
