# Enter Member Data Manually
Use the **Add New Member** option to create a single member account directly, without going through a CSV import. This is the fastest way to add one or two people — for adding many at once, see **Import Member Data**.
### Steps
1. Click on the **Membership** tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
2. Click on the **Members** tab.
3. Click the **Members Actions** dropdown at the top right, then choose **+Add New Member**.
4. In the **ADD MEMBER PROFILE** window, fill in the **Primary Information** section: First Name, Last Name, and Email Address are required, along with Country, Address Line 1, City, State, and ZIP. Phone Number, Address Line 2, and Lot Number are optional.
5. Check **Admin** if this person should have admin-level access to your Dashboard, or **Blocked From Newsfeed** if they shouldn’t be able to post to the community newsfeed.
6. Fill in any Custom Fields or Admin Only Fields your community has added to the Member Form (see **Add Custom Fields to Your Member or Household Form** for what those are).
7. Click **Save** at the bottom of the window to create the member.
**Note:** A member created this way is added directly as an active member — it does not go through the Member Approval queue the way a self-registration does.
To exit without saving, click the **X** in the top right corner or press **Esc**.
