# Edit Household Address Data
Use the **EDIT ADDRESS** window to correct or update the information stored on an existing Address record.
### Steps
1. Click on the **Households** tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen.
2. Click on the **Addresses** tab.
3. Scroll through the Address list until you find the row you want, using the arrow icons or a page number if your list covers more than one page.
4. Click the three-dot menu in the **ACTIONS** column for that row and select **Edit Address**.
5. Update any of the fields as needed (see below), then click **Save Address** to confirm.
#### Fields You Can Edit
- **Lot Number** — an optional unique identifier for the individual Address, commonly taken from your community’s plan numbers.
- **Country** — chosen from a dropdown; defaults to no country selected.
- **Address** and **Address Line 2** — the street address, split across up to two lines.
- **City** and **State** — city name typed in, state chosen from a dropdown.
- **ZIP Code** — the five-digit postal code.
- **Select Primary Residents** — an optional checklist to assign or change which household member’s name appears on invoices for this Address. This field only shows options when the Address is linked to a Household that has members attached to it.
To exit without saving, click **Cancel**, press **Esc**, or click the **X** in the top right corner of the window.
