Edit Active Widget Settings

Use a widget’s settings to control whether it’s hidden from the public site and whether it requires a member to be logged in to view it.

Steps

  1. Click on the Manage Site tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen, then click Site Setup.
  2. In the Site Builder window, click the page containing the widget in the left-side page list.
  3. Point to (hover over) the active widget you want to configure. An overlay dims the widget and a control bar appears above it.
  4. Click Widget Settings in the control bar.
  5. In the Edit Widget Settings window, check or uncheck:
  • Hide Widget (This Will Hide The Entire Row If There Are Multiple Widgets!) — removes the widget from the public site while keeping it visible in the Site Builder for future editing.
  • Must Be Logged In Member To View — restricts the widget so only logged-in members can see it.
  1. Click Update to save your changes.

To exit without saving, click Cancel, press Esc, or click the X in the top right corner.

Note: You can’t change a widget’s vertical position on a page or, for multi-widget rows, its horizontal position among the other widgets in the same row from this window.
