Edit a Post

You can go back and change a post's title, message, public/member visibility, or attachment at any time after publishing it.

Steps

  1. Click the Newsfeed link on your website's main navigation bar.
  2. Find the post you want to change, and click the three-dot menu in its upper-right corner.
  3. Click edit.
  4. In the EDIT POST window, make your changes to the Post Title, Your Message, Make Post Public checkbox, or attachment.
  5. Click Post to save your changes, or Cancel to leave the post as it was.

Note: The Edit Post window uses the exact same layout as Create a Post, just pre-filled with the post's current title and message — and the button that saves your changes is still labeled Post, not "Save" or "Update."
