Deactivate a Form

What Deactivating Does

The Deactivate option hides a custom form that's no longer in use.

Important: any and all submissions associated with a deactivated form disappear along with it. If you reactivate the form later, it reappears together with all of its submissions.

Steps

  1. Click the Forms tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen, then click Custom Forms.
  2. Locate the form you want to deactivate.
  3. In the ACTIONS column, click the ⋮ (three-dot) menu for that form's row, then click Deactivate.
  4. Click Deactivate Form in the confirmation window to finish, or Cancel to back out.

Note: Any page on your website that still has a deactivated form attached to it will show that the form is unavailable — reactivating the form restores it there automatically, without needing to redo the page's widget setup.

To Reactivate a Form

  1. Toggle on Show Inactive in the Custom Forms window to reveal deactivated forms.
  2. Locate the form and use the corresponding action in its ⋮ menu to reactivate it — its submissions will reappear.
