The Site Setup editor lets you embed media-rich content from popular sites including YouTube, Vimeo, Hulu, and Flickr directly into Contact Info and Paragraph widget elements. Media from these sites includes video, image, and audio formats that display directly on your website.

 Steps

  1. Visit one of the supported sites (for example, YouTube) and copy the URL you want to share on your website. Shortened URLs are also supported.
  2. From Site Setup, load the page you want to edit.
  3. Click the Edit Contact Info or Edit Paragraph widget element to open the editor window.
  4. Click to place your cursor at the spot in the body copy where you want to insert the link.
  5. Click the Embed Media from External Sites icon to open the Embed Media Content window.
  6. In the Embed Media Content window:
    • Enter a name for your media file in the required Title field.
    • Paste the link you copied from the media-rich website into the required URL field.
  7. Optionally resize the item you're inserting: select Specific Resize to enter a specific width and height in pixels.
  8. Use the Alignment settings to align the media to the left, center, or right side of the widget box.
  9. Click OK to return to the widget element window, then click Update to confirm your settings. You can now preview the media file's size and placement within Site Setup.

 Sizing Reference

Most high-definition videos display at a 16:9 width-to-height ratio. Use this ratio to avoid black bars above and below the viewing area:

  • 1/3-page column: 400 px x 225 px
  • 1/2-page: 600 px x 338 px
  • 2/3-page: 800 px x 450 px
  • Full-page: 1200 px x 675 px
