Edit a Ticketing System Form Without Losing Existing Submission Data

The Risk of Editing Fields Directly
You can use the Form Builder option (from the ⋮ Actions menu on a form's row in the Ticketing System window) to revise a ticket form if you need to collect different information. However:
If you change the fields on a form, the data entered into those fields on previous submissions becomes inaccessible.
Recommended Approach
Rather than risk losing access to previous submission data, consider one of these options instead of editing the live form directly:
- Create a new form for the changed set of questions, and leave the old form (and its data) intact.
- Duplicate the existing form, then edit the duplicate — preserving the original form and its submission history untouched.
