# Can a Sub-Admin Role Be Given Access to Households, Payments, Financials, or Message Center?
No. A sub-admin role cannot be given access to Households, Payments, Financials, or Message Center. Those four areas are available only to full admins.
##### **What can a sub-admin role include?**
When you create or edit a sub-admin role (Membership \> Sub-Admin Roles), the role's privilege list contains these options:
- Amenities
- Boardroom
- Calendars
- Committees
- Custom Forms
- Document Repository
- Events
- Help Desk
- Member Form
- Members
- Newsfeed
- Site Setup
- Sponsorships
- Surveys and Polls
- Ticketing System
- Violations
Households, Payments, Financials, and Message Center are not on the list, so no sub-admin role can grant them. A person assigned to a sub-admin role sees only the parts of the Admin Dashboard that match the role's privileges.
##### **What does this mean for managing households?**
Adding or editing households and addresses, and managing the members attached to a household, requires the full Admin role. The same applies to dues and invoices (Payments), financial records and reports (Financials), and messages to members (Message Center).
##### **What if someone needs one of these areas?**
Make the person a full admin. A full admin has access to the entire Admin Dashboard, so assign the role only to people you trust with all of it.
