Can a Limited-Access Sub-Admin Create Folders in the Document Center?

It depends on which type of Sub-Admin role they have. A Limited-Access Sub-Admin cannot create root folders or subfolders in the Document Center, even if Document Center access is one of their assigned permissions. A Full-Access Sub-Admin with the Document Center permission enabled can create both root folders and subfolders.

When would this come up?
  • A Limited-Access Sub-Admin who can see and upload to the Document Center asks why they can't add a new subfolder — that's expected; folder creation is a Full-Access-only capability.
What to check

If a Sub-Admin needs to create folders, they need Full Sub-Admin access, not just the Document Center permission on a Limited role. See Account > Sub-Admin Roles to check which type a given Sub-Admin has.
