Can members join a committee from the website?

How to Let Members Join Committees From Your Website

For community members to see available committees and review details, you'll need a Committees page on the public side of your website where members can click Apply to join.

Steps

  1. Add a new template page to your site (see the Help Desk for detailed steps on adding a page).
  2. Once the Committees page is live, members can browse available committees and view details such as committee leaders and descriptions.
  3. Members click the Apply button on a committee to request to join.

New applications submitted through this page appear as pending members in the Admin Panel, where an Admin can approve or reject them (see the committee member management article).
