Approve or Reject a New Member Registration

When a resident registers for website access, their account isn't active immediately — it lands in your Member Approval queue for review. Go to Membership > Member Approval to see it.

1. Go to Membership > Member Approval.
2. The screen opens on the Pending tab by default, showing a table of everyone awaiting review: Member (name and email) and Requested (the date they registered).
3. Use Pending, Approved, and Rejected at the top of the screen to switch between queues, or use Search All to look up a specific member by name or email.
4. On any pending row, use the Approve Member or Reject Member action icon to process the request.

Approving a registration activates the member's account and grants them normal member access to your community's website. Rejecting a registration declines the request without creating an active account.

Pending member registrations also appear as a widget directly on your Admin Dashboard, so you don't have to visit the full Member Approval screen to catch new sign-ups — the same Approve Member and Reject Member actions are available there.
