An Overview of the Site Builder

The Site Builder is the tool your organization uses to design and maintain its public website — a companion to your Admin Dashboard rather than a part of it. It lets you add pages, change how they look, and fill each one with your organization’s own content.

Opening the Site Builder

  1. Click on the Manage Site tab on the vertical Dashboard menu at the left side of the screen. This expands into a submenu.
  2. Click Site Setup. The Site Builder opens in its own window, separate from the Admin Dashboard.

What You Can Do

  • Create, rename, reorder, and remove pages.
  • Customize the look and content of each page by editing its individual widgets.
  • Preview your public site before finalizing changes, and publish when you’re ready.
  • Switch between your live Production Site and a separate Staging Site for testing design changes.

The left side of the Site Builder window lists every page on your site; selecting a page loads it into the main preview area, where you can point to (hover over) any widget to reveal its editing controls.

Tip: Not every page template is available on every plan or theme. If a specific template you’re looking for isn’t listed when adding a page, check with an administrator about your organization’s current plan.
