An Overview of the E-mail Blasts Feature

E-mail Blasts let you reach your whole community, or just a group you search for, with a single email or text message -- without needing a separate mailing tool.

What You Can Send

• A quick, one-off message you type directly into the send window.
• A message built from a Message Center Custom Template, for a more polished, reusable design.
• A text message (up to 160 characters) to members who have opted in to texting, an email, or both at once.

Where to Send One

Go to Membership > Members, optionally search/filter the list down to the group you want to reach, then use Members Actions > Message Filtered Members. See Send a Text Alert to Members for the full steps.

Good to Know

Every member can be reached by email, since their email address doubles as their website username. Text messages only reach members who have opted in to receive them, and messaging charges may apply depending on your plan and how many messages you've already sent.
