An Overview of Budgets

A budget lets you forecast income and expenses and compare those forecasts against the actual results from one or more previous years, broken out by month or quarter.

Where to Manage Budgets

Budget management lives under the Financials tab on the left Dashboard menu, on the Budgets sub-tab. From there you can:

• Create a new budget.
• Edit an existing budget’s details.
• Duplicate a budget to use as a starting point for a new one.
• Deactivate a budget you no longer need, and reopen it later if needed.
• Permanently delete a deactivated budget.
• Search your budget list, and show or hide inactive budgets.
