# About Classic
HOA Start Classic gives your community a website that members log in to, an Admin Dashboard that runs it, and a Site Builder that designs it. This article shows what logging in looks like and introduces the three parts of the site.
##### Logging In
Every community’s public site has Login and Register links at the top right. Click Login to open the Log In window, which shows your community’s name. Enter your email address and password, then click LOG IN. The eye icon next to Password shows what you typed. If you forget your password, use the Forgot your password? link. If you do not have an account yet, use the Create one here link.
The first time you log in, start with the email you receive about your account. Its subject line reads “please reset your online password” with your first name in front. Click Reset Password in the email. The link in the email expires after 7 days; if it has expired, ask your admin to send a new one.
The Reset Password button opens the Create New Password page. Type your new password in Password, type it again in Confirm Password, and click SET PASSWORD. A strength message under the Password box tells you if the password is too weak.
After you click SET PASSWORD, a page confirms that your password has been successfully changed. Click back to login to return to the login page.
Log in with your email address and your new password.
After you log in, you land on your community’s public site. The top right of the page says Hello, followed by your name, with a dropdown arrow. Click the arrow to open a menu with My Profile, My Dashboard, Member Portal, and Log Off. Choose My Dashboard to get to your dashboard.
##### The Three Parts of Classic
**1. The public-facing site**
This is the website your community’s visitors and members see at your web address. It has your community’s name and the Login and Register links at the top, and a main menu of pages such as Home, Calendar, and Newsfeed. Each page is built from a template made up of widgets that you fill in with your own text, images, and community data.

**2. The Admin Dashboard**
This is where admins run the community. It opens to a homepage of cards that summarize recent activity, such as Members, Newsfeed, Events, Forms/Polls, Tickets, Violations, Payments, Documents, Reservations, Sponsors, and Committees. The menu on the left leads to each feature, including Membership, Households, Forms, Payments, and Message Center. The cards you see depend on the features your community has enabled.

**3. The Site Builder**
This is the tool for designing and maintaining the public site. It opens in its own window, separate from the Admin Dashboard: click Manage Site in the left menu, then click Site Setup. In the Site Builder you add, rename, and reorder pages, edit each page’s widgets, preview your changes, and publish when you are ready.
